Collaboration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
The Postgraduate Programs offer graduates the opportunity to acquire the ACCA Qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Our programs’ graduates in addition to the knowledge and skill set acquired from training with a high prestige global body, they can acquire nine exemptions for the ACCA Qualification examinations, as well as for all the Certificates that ACCA offers through its Foundations In Accountancy certification program.
Collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)
The Postgraduate Programs of the Department of Accounting and Finance of the University of Macedonia offer graduates the possibility of obtaining the ACA Qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Along with the prestige and the value of this accreditation graduates can acquire exemptions from the ACA modules. Acquiring this certification is a prerequisite for an international career in Accounting and Auditing worldwide, with an emphasis on knowledge and continuous training.
Furthermore, the Postgraduate Programs of the Department of Accounting and Finance of the University of Macedonia have been accredited as a Partner In Learning Higher Education Institution (HEI).
Collaboration with the Institute of Internal Controls (IIC)
The Postgraduate Programs offer its graduates the Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA) accreditation of the Institute for Internal Controls, thus creating the conditions for their employment in the internal control area in both the private and public sector.

Cooperation with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece
The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece is responsible for the professional training and certification of auditors and accountants in Greece. Due to the existing cooperation of the MSc in Applied Accounting and Auditing, an exemption is given in eight of the examined modules of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece.
Cooperation with the Greek Institute of Internal Auditors
The MSc in Applied Accounting and Auditing offers its graduates professional certification, thus allowing them to create the conditions for their training and employment in the field of internal audit. It provides the opportunity for development, continuous training and professional recognition while promoting the application of internal audit in accordance with International Standards.
